We had a LOT of players in our escape rooms the first few weeks. Thanks to the Groupon campaign. It helped us smooth out wrinkles, and figure out how long props would last. It was surprising to know that most people have never heard of escape rooms. Also about half our players are locals. Even though there is so much to do in Las Vegas, people do appreciate something that's not about gambling, and don't mind getting away from, or staying away from, The Strip once in awhile.
Living in Las Vegas for 6 years and dealing blackjack and poker, I thought there's got to be something really unique to do. I thought about what a "James Bond Fantasy Camp" might look like. Having taken a week long wilderness survival course, I knew it would be fun to do something like that. But, with a typical Vegas vacation being only a few days, was not sure how I could do it. Then I stumbled upon escape rooms. I did a few myself with no great success, but a LOT of fun. I wanted to take the experience up a notch, or two. So that is how Live Escape Adventure came to be. So far, it has been an adventure to build and run the business. Thanks to all who were early room testers, and early customers!
